WELCOME TO ANADYR, RUSSIA
Anadyr, Russia, is a roughly 800 nautical mile flight from Anchorage, Alaska. And we can officially say we've time traveled!
We left Anchorage on Tuesday at 10am and arrived in Anadyr on Wednesday at 9am - don't worry, it's not that long of a flight. We can thank the International Date line! Beyond losing a day, we also lost 4 hours.
The last US waypoint where we are with USA Air Traffic Control is VALDA, from there we are in the Confederation of Russia.
All went as planned and we landed in Anadyr, Russia in our intended sequence.
