JAPAN - BACK TO CIVILIZATION

We are wheels up and airborne, enroute to Nagoya, Japan. Not expected was the strong headwinds we were facing. In flight we were faced with 140 knots in the nose, at one point the PC-12 was cruising at  120 knots! It was decided mid-air that the Citation Mustang would make a fuel stop in Sapporo.

The diversion to Sapporo was organized with the satellite phone. We communicated with the local handler, planned the fuel, customs and immigration, etc. A non-event for the Citation Mustang and a service you can expect when flying with Air Journey.

On arrival we are met by Nagao Misao known as Mickey-san from Nakanihon Air Service and his wonderful team. We are in great capable hands and in a country full of contrast from where we just came. One main difference - SMILES!
