DRONE FLYING OFF MULKIRIGALA ROCK TEMPLE

While some elephant safari-ed, others chose to climb 464 steps to Mulkirigala Rock Temple – but who’s counting the steps? That's 464 up and 464 back down. The Rock of Mulkirigala holds seven cave temples situated on different terraced levels to the top, offering us an apprise to the climb. Of course,  we claimed the terraces as photo opportunities, we definitely didn’t need rest from the stairs.

All enjoyed the climb to the top of the rock, which rises 676 feet from the surrounding land mass. This seemed like a nice place to launch the drone so I did. A little nerve wracking initially but once launched, we got great pictures and video of the area from a bird’s eye view.

564 steep steps, going up is one thing coming g down is another

The DJI Mavric Pro Drone is light, easy to carry, and snaps amazing photos and videos.
