SINGAPORE SLINGING
A visit to Singapore is not complete without downing a famous Singapore Sling at the great dame, the Raffles Hotel.
Our usual home while in Singapore, the Raffles Hotel is undergoing extensive renovations at this time and the properties restaurants, bars and some hotel rooms are closed off to the public. Hence the reason we opted for a different address for our stay. Yet, we couldn't pass up the famous Singapore Sling. The original bar, Raffle's Long Bar, is closed for renovations as well so they have moved the experience to their Billard's Bar. Peanuts are still thrown on the ground and the Singapore Sling hasn't changed it's taste.
