DUNE BASHING IN DUBAI
What to do when in a desert? Dune bashing of course! We set out for the Sharjah desert in a convoy of 4 land cruisers for a fun afternoon of dune bashing. These land cruisers are outfitted with protective roll bars that allow the cars to ride the large dunes of the desert with hopefully no roll overs.
A small portion of the desert has been portioned off to allow this activity that ensures no long term damage to the dunes. Just prior to entering the area, our cars pulled over on the side of the road in order to let air out of the tires in order to better navigate the sand dunes. Once partially deflated, we were off!
